The young artist studio is an art studio for a young art enthusiast to appreciate and enjoy creative exploration and expression of visual art.
It believes in the importance of providing a stimuli and platform for a child to be inspired, imagine and build self confidence through the creation of art and craft.
It recognizes that during the explorative process, a child’s skills in eye-mind-hand coordination, focus and concentration, sensory discrimination, problem solving and decision-making are developed. The creative outcome lets the child take pride in realizing his/her own ideas; and gives a sense of accomplishment and ownership.
The programmes offered will be conducted by art trained practitioners with teaching experience at art institutions.
